Improve your iron phosphating and/or cleaning process with PreCoat CPF at low temperatures

In the industry, phosphating remains one of the most used pretreatment and cleaning processes for metal surfaces. These traditional processes are usually carried out at high temperatures of around 50 °C. Another significant disadvantage is the high maintenance costs due to sludge formation in the baths. With PreCoat CPF, all these disadvantages are eliminated, and your process becomes a future-proof system. PreCoat CPF is a chrome-, phosphate-, and silicate-free pretreatment that can replace conventional phosphating and cleaning processes 1:1. The product degreases and applies a conversion/passivation layer in a single step.

The advantages at a glance:
  • Low operating temperature: 15–35 °C
  • Multi-metal: suitable for steel, aluminium, galvanized steel, and stainless steel
  • Application: immersion, spraying, or washing machine
  • Improved cleaning: cleans better than conventional methods; the use of new cleaning agents effectively removes contaminants such as grease, oil, and workshop dirt
  • No sludge formation: does not form sludge, resulting in less machine maintenance
  • Wastewater treatment: phosphate-free product, easy to process and cost-effective
  • Corrosion protection:

| Aluminum: up to 1008 hours AASS with 1-coat powder coating and up to 1440 hours AASS with 2-coat powder coating
| Steel: 480 to 720 hours NSS with 1-coat powder coating and up to 1008 hours NSS with 2-coat powder coating
| Comparable results with wet paint

Industrial cleaning solutions for every application
  • Paint adhesion: significantly improved compared to conventional iron phosphating for both powder coating and wet painting processes
  • Chemical costs: Chemical consumption will be significantly reduced
  • Markets: Agriculture, construction, trailer manufacturing, and other general industries (office furniture, kitchen appliances, fitness equipment, etc.)
Industrial cleaning at low temperatures; just as effective

For most common pretreatment and cleaning processes, AD offers alternatives that can be used at room temperature and are just as effective and efficient. Choosing a lower-temperature pretreatment or cleaning process can save a lot of energy.
