Efficient and Sustainable Metal Cleaning
Starter MM is the solution of choice for cleaning metals. It effectively removes oxides, welding scale and light milling scale, can be applied at mild temperatures (20–35°C) and is pH neutral. This means it contributes to realisation of the Green Deal objectives, and is an environmentally friendly choice. The product is optimised so that drag-out has minimal impact on rinse water. Smart process optimisation leads to water savings. The product is multi-metal, suitable for: aluminium, galvanised steel and steel, and ensures a perfectly cleaned substrate, ready to apply MM31® in the next step.

MM31®
Innovative Water-based Conversion Coating
MM31® provides a water-based conversion and passivation coating. This product is free of hazard symbols, making it safe and environmentally friendly. It degreases in a single step and applies a conversion layer. The applied layer improves the adhesion of both powder and wet paint and provides excellent protection against surface rust on steel, white rust on zinc and corrosion on aluminium. What’s more, MM31® allows long-term intermediate storage without loss of quality.
MM31® meets strict international standards such as FROSIO, NACE, GSB, Qualicoat and Qualisteelcoat. It replaces solvents in the operational process, contributing to a safer work environment and less exposure to harmful substances for employees.
