In many recoating and refinishing processes, mechanical sanding is not always easy to carry out. Especially in these areas, uniform mechanical preparation is labour intensive and sometimes hardly feasible in practice.

SurfClean RC offers a chemical process step that cleans, temporarily softens and reactivates the existing paint surface. This prepares the surface for a new paint layer, without the need to remove the entire existing coating.

This makes SurfClean RC especially relevant for objects with complex geometries, large surfaces or parts where manual sanding requires a lot of time or is insufficiently reproducible. SurfClean RC is not a conventional paint stripper. The product is not intended to fully remove paint layers, but to prepare existing paint layers for a new coating layer.
