How can surface treatment processes be made more energy efficient, compact and flexible?

Tobias Fischer from AD Chemicals GmbH will give a presentation at the ZVO-Oberflächentage 2026 on current developments in industrial metal pretreatment. The title of his presentation is:

“Future-ready surface treatments: from energy-efficient cleaning to multifunctional single-stage processes”

In the first part of the presentation, Tobias will discuss innovative cleaning technologies developed for low process temperatures. These technologies can contribute to lower energy consumption, reduced chemical usage and less maintenance of process baths.

In the second part, the topic will be a multifunctional single-stage process applied after mechanical pretreatment. This process combines cleaning and degreasing with corrosion protection and improved paint adhesion for the subsequent coating system. By combining several functions in a single process step, chemical pretreatment lines can be simplified, process times shortened and existing production processes organised more efficiently.
