For BMS Coating, blasting was not the ideal pretreatment method for every aluminium component. The process was time consuming, areas that were difficult to reach were not always treated effectively and temperature differences could cause certain components to deform.

With Cleaner OV and MM31®, BMS Coating has found a chemical alternative. Cleaner OV removes surface contamination, after which MM31® prepares the surface for coating. This reduces the need for additional process steps and enables BMS Coating to move components through the process more quickly.
