Reducing the footprint of aluminium pre-treatment

We are proud to share that our joint project with Corialis Group is featured in the latest issue of BESSER LACKIEREN!

Together, we optimized the chemical pre-treatment process at Corialis’s vertical powder-coating lines in 𝗕𝗲𝗹𝗴𝗶𝘂𝗺 (𝗤𝘂𝗮𝗹𝗶𝗰𝗼𝗮𝘁 𝗦𝗲𝗮𝘀𝗶𝗱𝗲 𝗰𝗲𝗿𝘁𝗶𝗳𝗶𝗲𝗱) and Portugal (𝗤𝘂𝗮𝗹𝗶𝗺𝗮𝗿𝗶𝗻𝗲 𝗰𝗲𝗿𝘁𝗶𝗳𝗶𝗲𝗱). The results show how close collaboration between supplier and manufacturer can deliver both sustainability gains and higher quality standards:

⚡ 𝗨𝗽 𝘁𝗼 𝟲𝟲% 𝗲𝗻𝗲𝗿𝗴𝘆 𝘀𝗮𝘃𝗶𝗻𝗴𝘀 with lower bath temperatures
💧 𝗨𝗽 𝘁𝗼 𝟴𝟳% 𝘄𝗮𝘁𝗲𝗿 𝘀𝗮𝘃𝗶𝗻𝗴𝘀 through optimised pickling & recirculation
✅ 𝗦𝘂𝗽𝗲𝗿𝗶𝗼𝗿 𝗰𝗼𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗽𝗲𝗿𝗳𝗼𝗿𝗺𝗮𝗻𝗰𝗲 exceeding Qualicoat, GSB and Qualimarine standards

Future-Proof Chemical Pre-treatment for vertical powder coating lines now featured in ipcm® International Paint&Coating Magazine

In response to the 𝗘𝘂𝗿𝗼𝗽𝗲𝗮𝗻 𝗚𝗿𝗲𝗲𝗻 𝗗𝗲𝗮𝗹, we partnered together with Corialis Group to reduce the environmental footprint of aluminium surface pre-treatment. The result? Sustainable innovations including top-tier coating performance.

✅ 𝟲𝟲.𝟳% 𝗲𝗻𝗲𝗿𝗴𝘆 𝘀𝗮𝘃𝗶𝗻𝗴𝘀

✅ 𝟴𝟳% 𝘄𝗮𝘁𝗲𝗿 𝗿𝗲𝗱𝘂𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻

✅ Stable quality proven over 𝟯,𝟬𝟮𝟰 𝗵𝗼𝘂𝗿𝘀 𝗔𝗔𝗦𝗦

Our optimized process 𝗳𝗲𝗮𝘁𝘂𝗿𝗲𝘀 a 𝘀𝘂𝘀𝘁𝗮𝗶𝗻𝗮𝗯𝗹𝗲 𝘄𝗮𝘁𝗲𝗿 𝘀𝘆𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗺, recirculating process water and cutting consumption from 4,000–5,000 to just 500–900 liters an hour. Combined with a chromium-free conversion layer, this ensures excellent paint adhesion and anti-corrosion properties.
