AD Chemicals and Corialis have taken a major step toward reducing the environmental impact of vertical powder coating lines. Through innovative chemical pretreatment technologies, they’ve demonstrated how CO₂ emissions, energy use, and water consumption can be significantly reduced.

In a joint case study, processes at Aliplast Belgium (Qualicoat Seaside-certified) and Lingote Aluminios in Portugal (Qualimarine-certified) were analyzed and optimized. The results?

✅ Up to 66.7% energy savings by lowering process bath temperatures

✅  Up to 87% (waste-)water reduction, thanks to an optimized process flow

✅ Reduced chemical consumption

✅ High corrosion protection: meeting 3,024 hours AASS, far exceeding certification standards

This collaboration highlights how supplier-manufacturer partnerships are key to developing more sustainable production processes for the future of aluminum finishing.
