Innovation: MM31®, replace solvents and upgrade your coating system to be future-proof
MM31® is an innovative chemical pretreatment that can be applied within 1 step after a mechanical pretreatment, for instance sanding, blasting and scotch brite. MM31® applies a trivalent chrome conversion layer that ensures improved adhesion of the powder coating or liquid coating to be applied and improves the corrosion protection.
In addition, MM31® cleans and degreases during the same step. This enables another benefit, the potential to replace the solvents.
The product also offers the so-called bare metal corrosion resistance or corrosion protection, without coating for aluminium, flash rust-protection on steel products and white rust protection on Zinc alloys. MM31® can be used for multi-metal purposes. MM31® can be implemented easily in a broad spectrum of other 1-step pretreatment processes for various metal substrates. So whatever your application method, with a cloth, high pressure or a spray gun, MM31® is able to upgrade the process. Because of the simple application, the excellent adhesion and corrosion protection properties and the extremely low consumption, MM31® creates an interesting innovation for all coaters without the need for significant investments.
