PHOSPHATE 06H, a trusted solution. Phosphate 06H has been part of the iron phosphate product range of AD Chemicals for many years. Companies in various sectors (from agricultural machinery to interior applications) rely on it within their iron phosphating process to create a perfect finish.

Phosphate 06 H is a mild acid phosphating agent for degreasing of steel, aluminum and zinc. The process results in the formation of a so called iron phosphate layer which protects the metal against corrosion and significantly improves paint adhesion.The process is suitable for both immersion as well as spray applications.

Cleaning and degreasing bath optimization

Tweak the bath parameters to create an optimal performance. By adding detergent (05 H for immersion and 05 H LF for spraying) and Phosphate 06H as separate additives an optimal bath performance can be achieved.

Corrosion protection

By using Phosphate 06H, up to 500 hours of corrosion protection in salt spray can be achieved. Depending on the coating type and steel grade.
In order to achieve even better corrosion and paint adhesion properties and a corrosion protection up to 1008 hours (ASTM B117,NSS) a passivation (PreCoat ADL-4P) is recommended in the final rinse bath after the iron phosphating with Phosphate 06H.
