Protection of Metal Substrates
Strip MMA contains specific corrosion inhibitors that protect a wide range of metal surfaces during the stripping process. As this is a highly active formulation, we recommend always conducting a preliminary compatibility test on the intended substrate to prevent unwanted surface attack.
Formic Acid-Based Stripping Technology
The formic acid-based formulation makes Strip MMA particularly suitable for removing difficult-to-strip coatings, such as phenolic resin-modified epoxies and post-baked coating systems. In many cases, neutralisation or passivation after stripping is recommended to ensure optimal protection of the base material.
