Additive Strip 3K – Alkaline stripping (hot)
Additive Strip 3K is a specialised additive that is added to sodium hydroxide or potassium hydroxide to significantly accelerate alkaline stripping of, for example, hanging hooks and painted parts. The addition of this product enables an efficient and cost saving stripping process. Additive Strip 3K contains no heavy metals, making it more environmentally friendly in use.

| Note | The caustic concentration and treatment time depend on the paint type and film build. After stripping, the parts must be rinsed with water. The required caustic concentration depends on the paint type and the coating thickness: |
For heavily coated hanging hooks, a higher concentration is recommended (300 to 400 g/l KOH 50%).
For lightly painted parts, a lower dosage is sufficient (25 to 100 g/l KOH 50%).
For optimal results, AD Chemicals recommends determining the correct process parameters together in consultation.

Strip B1
Strip B1 combines strong stripping power with process stability for cold removal of coatings from aluminium. Its specialised formulation reduces evaporation and supports long bath life, making it ideal for efficient use in closed industrial systems.
